AI in Cameroon: what to know first

  • A national AI strategy since July 2025

    The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications presented Cameroon's national AI strategy in July 2025. It plans a regulatory framework. To our knowledge, no AI law has been adopted yet.

  • The data law already applies

    Companies had until 23 June 2026 to comply with Law No. 2024/017. Before any AI tool gets access to your customer file, we check with you what it will see.

  • A bilingual team, one set of rules

    AI helps staff draft in both official languages. A person still reads everything before it reaches a customer.

Frequently asked questions

Does Cameroon have a law on artificial intelligence?
Not yet, as far as we know: the 2025 strategy plans a framework. Today, the 2024 personal data law is what applies to your AI tools. We review the rules with you before any project.
Can the team workshop be run in English?
The free call, the diagnosis report and the follow-up are in English. Tell us your team's working language during the call. We then confirm in writing what we can offer for the workshop.
Where should a small business in Cameroon start with AI?
With a task you repeat every week, such as preparing quotes or answering the same questions. We spot it together during the free 20-minute call.
What does AI consulting actually involve?
It helps you decide where artificial intelligence is useful in your business, choose the right tools, then put them in place without risk to your data. We start from your real tasks, not from the technology.
Do I have to buy your AI agents afterwards?
No. The roadmap is yours: you can carry it out with us, with another company or on your own. If you entrust us with the project, part of the price of the diagnosis or the roadmap is deducted from your invoice.
Will AI replace my team?
No. It takes on repetitive tasks. Your team keeps the decisions and the contact with your customers.
Does what I show you stay confidential?
Yes. Our terms of sale require us to keep your information and documents confidential, for the whole contract and three years after.
