Should a small hotel buy a hotel system or build its own?
Buy one first if it covers your needs: many hotel systems exist. Custom software is worth it for what they leave out, such as transfers, excursions or your own staff rota.
Do I have to tell the Information Commission about new software?
The Act sets no general registration duty. You keep a record of processing, and a breach likely to put people at risk must be reported to the Information Commission. We give you the written details you need.

Yes. The software runs in a web browser or on a phone, with one access per person. Each site sees its own work, and you see everything.
