Data and AI: the Rwandan framework

    You register with the NCSA and need its authorisation to store personal data outside Rwanda. We give you the hosting details in writing for that request.

  • The National AI Policy

    Approved in 2023, it includes practical ethical guidelines for AI in Rwanda. We use them to frame each automation with you.

  • European rules, if you serve Europe

    The EU AI Act may apply if your customers are in the European Union, for example travellers who book your Rwandan lodge from Europe.

Yes, alongside it. An agent can prepare orders or chase unanswered quotes, while every tax invoice still comes from your EBM. We do not promise a direct link to the RRA system.
Can our data be hosted in Europe?
Yes, with an authorisation from the NCSA, as Rwanda's 2021 law requires. We provide the written information your request needs.
Which task should a Rwandan SME automate first?

Do we need to change our tools to use AI?
