Frequently asked questions

Does an app that takes payments need EBM?
Yes. In Rwanda, every taxable sale needs an EBM invoice, whether or not the business is registered for VAT. We choose the right set-up with you and your accountant.
Can the app be in English and French?
Tell us who your Rwandan users are and which language they read. We agree the app's languages during the free call, and the quote states them.
Where is my customers' data stored?
We tell you the hosting location in writing. Storing it outside Rwanda needs NCSA authorisation, and our note gives the details your request needs.
iPhone, Android, or both?
The Essential App works on one of the two, your choice. From the Pro App, it works on iPhone and Android: we build it once for both, which lowers the price and the timeline.
Who puts the app on the App Store and Google Play?
We do. It is published on Apple and Google accounts opened in your name, so that it stays yours. The registration fees charged by Apple and Google are paid by you: we state them in the quote.
Does the app belong to me?
Yes. Once the project is paid in full, the app is yours, with its content and its source code.
What happens after delivery?
The first month of support is included. After that, a monthly plan covers the updates required by Apple and Google, security and backups. The Business plan also includes up to 5 hours of changes per month (texts, prices, photos…).
